Texas Rep. Ron Paul announced Friday that he will run for the GOP nomination for president in 2012, the third attempt wasting MILLIONS more for a 5% chance he might make it close to getting on ballots across the country!
Ron Paul supports the State’s ability to decide about laws that affect them and not the Federal governments or judges pushing beliefs on us.
Delaware Gets Gay Civil Unions in 2012!!!

Delaware Gov. Jack Markell has signed a bill into law that gives same-sex couples legal protections and recognition beginning in 2012.
It makes Delaware the eighth state to allow civil unions or domestic partnerships for same-sex couples. Gay marriages are legal in five states, plus Washington, D.C.
Forty-one states prohibit same-sex marriage via statute or the state’s constitution.
The Democratic governor signed the civil unions bill Wednesday night before a cheering crowd of more than 600 at The Queen theater Wilmington.
The law takes effect Jan. 1, 2012.

The ever hateful group “NOM” National Organization for Marriage, has pledged to spend ONE MILLION DOLLARS in the fight against Gay Marriage in New York. That’s ONE MILLION DOLLARS pledged to hate and not being used to help the United States of America get back on its feet again!
This hate group is getting MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to fight something that is not going to affect their lives in the slightest and denying less than 10% of the US population equal rights.

Converted to being a Catholic after two divorces (while cheating on both of them - adultry) to marry his third wife!
Believes that no homosexual, Muslims, feminists, Buddhists or anyone else that is not white, male and Christian need apply for the full benefits of American citizenship.
The list of his rants and raves against so many targets could not fit into this blog. For the American LGBT citizens he is particularly harsh. He supports:
-an amendment to the Constitution of the United States banning same sex marriage.
-banning all adoption by LGBT parents
-banning LGBT citizens from becoming foster parents.
-stopping LGBT Americans from serving in the military at all costs.
-against the passage of ENDA
-against the repeal of DOMA
-had his political committees give $350,000 to anti-LGBT hate groups
-says Obama should be impeached for not defending DOMA in court.
-believes that all homosexuals are sinners.
-he stated that there is a ‘gay and secular fascism in this country’
This, from a man who has a half-sister, Candace, who is Lesbian.
Via Media Matters, newly-minted Presidential contender Newt Gingrich appearing on Bill O’Reilly hinted at what could well be a promising theme in his 2012 campaign for the Presidency, saving America, and all good Christians, from those gay, secular, fascists:
“I think there is a gay and secular fascism in this country that wants to impose its will on the rest of us, is prepared to use violence, to use harassment. I think it is prepared to use the government if it can get control of it. I think that it is a very dangerous threat to anybody who believes in traditional religion.”

Wants to re-instate ban on gays in the military.

NH Stonewall Democrats at Boston Gay Pride

The NH Stonewall Democrats will be attending the 2011 Gay Pride Event in Boston on Saturday, June 12th. They are marching and always looking for more people to join them! They will also have a table set up from noon to 6pm at City Hall Plaza.

Portsmouth Library Gay Book Group

On Wednesday, June first at 7pm the Portsmouth Public Library’s LGBT reading group will be discussing Union Atlantic by Adam Haslett. Discussion will be held in the Mcleod Board Room.
The library is hosting this group on the first Wednesday of every month to provide an open environment to read and discuss quality LGBT themed literature. Anyone is welcome to attend; meetings are open to high school age teen and adult readers.
Copies of the books to be discussed will be available at the library prior to the meeting.
